  1. Not everything needs an explanation. I have a whole bunch of photos that defy recognition but are great to look at. But it is true that we are hard wired to identify what we are seeing. Could be the difference between eating or being eaten! In our current cyber world however it is possible to explore the inexplicable just for the fun of it.

  2. The title came from the feel that the ‘heavier’ top colour was infiltrating the lighter lower half which seemed to be reaching upwards as the top was pressing downwards. The result would inevitably be an exchange of energy! The words appear instantly as I look at the picture and the neat explanation comes later making the small logic portion of my brain feel useful.

  3. Very lava lamp-esque. My title came from the cartoonish head at the bottom, with the impressive proboscis, lying on his back and opening wide to gobble down the crescent-shaped biscuit in front of him.
