Thank you, Its a nice jumping off point for the next 1000! I’m ready for a new season of light ~ today I discovered that my chickens had laid a clutch of eggs, the first of this year clever girls so the portents are good and Spring has arrived.
That is something to lift the heart and a sign of so much more to come. It is a fact that the more observant I have become the more pleasure I have in the smallest of things ~ worlds within our world.
Congratulations on this milestone! This is one of those images that my overactive imagination refuses to turn into anything specific, yet I find it very compelling nonetheless. Regarding Spring: We are about to get hit with a snowstorm! Winter is spewing its last insults, but I am not concerned. The deer have started tromping through my yard on their way across the road. This is a pattern they only follow in the Springtime. In Winter they stay away from our house and move along the creek. So Spring it is!
Thank you Greg I thought it was worth recording. I chose this image because of its happy obscurity as I think the artist’s mind often defies explanation. I trust the deer over both the weather forecast and the weather! They are a beautiful sight and follow ancient trails so your garden is part of a miraculous journey.
Congrats on that very round number!

Congratulations! Continuing with the theme of spring, I saw my first wildflower today…!!
