Summer memory ~ perched on the edge of a cliff on top of the island of Staffa off the coast from the larger island of Mull in Scotland was a handful of people and a lot of Puffins. These charming seabirds flew towards us making an idyllic afternoon even more special

OUTCROP ~ as we whizz through space, tiny flowers find a toe-hold in a lump of porous Scottish rock. Lacking the advantages of a well tended herbaceous border they nevertheless thrive, attracting both attention and admiration.

SILVER PLATED PLANET ~floating somewhere on the edge of Space an ancient rock spins and turns, the soft shades of moss and turf faintly visible beneath a protective shield.

FACING THE IMPRINT ~ deep in the glacial ice lies an imprint of a long forgotten creature, designed by the Masters and lost to time. There are some things that only our imagination can make real.

WHIRLPOOL ~ Corryvreckan is Gaelic for “cauldron of the speckled seas” and is the source of tales of wonder both past and present. Situated between the islands of Jura and Scarba on the West coast of Scotland it is easy to feel the power of this mesmerising phenomenon.
